How We Calculate Your Missing PD Measurement

In order to align the optical center of your prescription lenses with your eyes we will need to know how far apart your eyes are. The measurement that defines this distance is called a PD Measurement, or Pupilary Distance. If this is not written on your prescription form, simply follow the instuctions below.

If this is on your prescription form from the Pupilary Distance way be preceded by FPD or DPD (Far or Distance Pupilary Distance). You may be able to get it by calling the last optical store that made prescription glasses for you.

Hold the credit card as level as possible right right under your chin.

The card should be the same distance from the camera as your eyes.

Have the photographer stand straight in front of you, aim your head straight at the camera, and focus on something in the distance straight behind the photographer.

Then email the image to [email protected].

Please include your order number in the subject line.

Higher resolution is helpful.
